Members of the club have the opportunity to participate in many unique and educational activities. These opportunities can help students develop the skills needed to successfully manage our precious soil and water resources. To check out some of the activities make sure to stop by our photos page.

1/28/04 Nebraska SWCS State Legislative Breakfast in the State Office Building at 6:30am

Club Meeting - Come to L.W. Chase Hall, East Campus for pizza and pop at 5:30 and then for bowling at the East Campus Union afterwards

2/18/04 Club Meeting - Speaker Gary Wells on "Why is the Yellow River Yellow" will speak in L.W. Chase Hall, East Campus at 5:30. Pizza and Pop will be served!
3/5/04 Pancake Feed - Come meet Professionals, Professors and other students at our annual pancake feed. Click here for details.

Other Activities

  • Volunteering as educators for the Children’s Earth Wellness Festival and Earth Day.
  • Attendance of the State Soil and Water Conservation Society's Legislative Breakfast and annual Conference.
  • Members have also been able to attend the annual, national SWCS meetings.
  • Picnics, bowling nights, pizza feeds and other fun activities are planned to allow members to meet socially.
